I just spent £150 for a peptide consultation for my skin, for inflammation. And. Alright, I wanted to go over this video and great, that she. She's extremely leery of this peptide clinic. And let's talk about this because this is something that needs to be said. I keep getting a lot of messages about what do, what do I think of this? What do I think of that? So let me make this explicitly clear. I don't trust any peptide clinic consultation or any peptide for that matter.
I'm not gonna take it. I will never tell my parents to take it. I'm not gonna take my, tell my wife to take it. No, I don't. I'm just completely against them. And there's a very good reason why. First and foremost, guys, you guys need to understand this is a trend. We've seen it, it's been. It existed from, I don't know, hundred, 50, 200 years. At this point, if you actually look into the market and advertising that's been going on for, it's.
It's. It just repeats every four years. Let's go back 20 years ago. 20 years ago, there was a movement of super fruits that they were gonna heal the world. One of them specifically was Noni. Noni. You could buy a bottle, about this big, 40, $50. It was supposed to heal your slip disc, heal your joints, help your heart and your cardiovascular system. I'm sure you guys never heard of Noni or The Noni juice. Next. What happened? We have, this water cleanse.
It was water, honey and cayenne pepper, and I think there's maybe some lemon or lime, I don't remember, and I don't remember the name. That took the health industry by storm. And everybody was doing it. And these, these are kind of harmless, right? Noni, it's, it's juice with a bunch of antioxidants. That's, that's not bad. That's, that's good. You're, you're gonna see something. The fast, well, that's also good too. It's good to fast. You're right. Right. Cause you start to the process of autophagy.
Like, I actually think fasting is a great tool. The problem with the current trend that we're in is the peptides are not. That peptides can have a consequence. Down the road, you can be unlocking things. So have been silent on your genome because you're introducing exogenous compounds. And the body does regulate a lot of things. The body creates its own variations of these compounds. But what you must understand is that these are not fully understood. These are research compounds. And to introduce them to your body with people that have absolutely no knowledge of your condition, that's dangerous.
She mentioned six peptides. Larosocite, KPB, BPC-157, GHK-Cu, GLP-1, and Mod C. So let's talk about these six compounds. Four that are extremely dangerous for your condition. Let's talk about him. I'm just gonna do some the fly, no infographics, nothing. So just kind of stay with Me. BPC 1:00 50 seven. How does it work? One of this main mechanisms is increasing. Increasing vascular endothelial growth factor. Why is this an issue? Let's go over the pathogenesis of endometriosis in both. In all women's population.
Here we have an endometrial cell that lands in the pelvic cavity, and some. It completely dies. The immune system gets it, and some. And some other sections of the population, it becomes endometriosis. How does it do that? By activating hypoxia. Survival genes via hypoxia inducible factor 1 alpha. Once that starts to activate, one of the first layers of. First survival layers is vascular endothelial growth factor. It uses this to survive, to get oxygen to get stabilized. What is BPC ONE FIFTY SEVEN is it increases vascular endothelial growth factor.
So personally, I don't know why would anyone recommend something that endometriosis uses as a foundational survival method. It's just. It doesn't make sense to me. That risk is too high. GHK-Cu. Typically is for skin health and rejuvenation. And that's great, because your skin's gonna look great while your endometriosis has a feast of its own. Okay, let's talk about that. See you at the end of this. Is that it's a copper molecule. The copper molecule is what helps your skin look great.
It's also what helps your adhesions and fibrosis grow. And here's the bad part about it. Once you have adhesions, once you have fibrosis, they can't go away without surgery, because these Are just. Is the structure so similar to your ligaments and your joints that if you could take something and. And get rid of your adhesions, you're risking your tendons, your ligaments becoming weak and you getting injured, the like. There's. It's just. It's bad. You can't. You need surgery for that. That's an issue because the copper molecule in GHK-Cu.
Is going to make its way into your endometriotic lesions. I mean, that's the point, right? That's the goal. This is. They're trying to do a healing complex for you. If it gets those lesions. L. Lysine L2 is what creates these adhesions and fibrosis and helps with these remodeling enzymes. That copper molecule is a cofactor for LOXL2. LOXL2 needs that copper molecule to be able to make these adhesions and fibrosis. So at this point, you're taking a peptide that's going to deliver the copper molecule on a surface of a plate and tell it have added.
Again, super dangerous. I will never, ever understand why someone would do that unless they don't know. Unless you're following trends, GLP-1, it's a 50 50. Do you have the phenotype that's gonna produce tremendous amount of tumorigenic growth, or do you have the phenotype that generally will benefit from GLP-1? This is the reason why I. I'm still against this, because the reality is, if you look at GOP one, it's produced growth in some tumorigenic models. I have the exact same genetic mutations.
We See, in a good portion of endometriosis cases. So that's why I say unless you've done a full genetic, markup, like just with a medical professional and gone over all these things, and then at that point, you can say, oh, hey, I don't carry these. Okay, let's push these through. But again, it's just a fifty fifty. And the reality is, most of these clinics don't even understand that, and they're not gonna do that for you. All right, let's go with Mod C.
Mod C is supposed to help mitochondria. What's the problem with that? Well, the mitochondria in your, in your endometriotic cells is not necessarily bad. It's actually way too good, as a matter of fact. It uses the. The mitochondria and endometriotic cells have three purposes. 1. If it needs to use oxidative phosphorylation, so oxygen. I can do that. Let's say that you do something to starve it of that, it'll switch to the Warburg effect, meaning it's going to use glycolysis, it's going to start shifting, and then that's when you get lactate.
And then we can also focus on pentose pathway, pentose phosphate pathway. For the creation of materials to create more lesions. So if you're going to take a compound that's going to boost mitochondrial efficiency, which of these three are you going to be boosting? Cause, you see, context matters. You don't have a necessarily a metabolic deficit. You have a metabolic reprogramming that is favoring lesions and disease. Pathology. So when you introduce something like Mod C, think about it. You could be pushing more estrogen, you could be pushing more building blocks for more lesions.
And then I'm gonna get a lot of people saying, well, I've taken that and I feel great. Here's the problem. These are long term effects. Yes, you can reduce the inflammation, you can do a lot of things, but are you still boosting the pathology, Benissa, the pathogenesis, like this? This is what where the issue is, because if you actually go to these peptide videos and comments and then look for the ones that say, I did this for 7, 8 months and now I am in so much pain, nothing is helping.
You could be silencing the symptoms while pushing for growth. And if you don't think that's possible, the medical literature already supports this. People that were taking birth control 15 years ago, yeah, the symptoms reduce, but the disease still grew. And that's kind of my problem, that peptides can push growth. So it's not just silencing the disease and disease progresses and it's normal, linear fashion. It could be boosted to unheard of levels. And that's. That's kind of the point of this video, and I'm hoping.
It's already running a little bit long, but I'm hoping that this helps. And I know some people are gonna say, can you. Can you put the articles and all of this? As much as I'd love to, you Need to understand, when I talk about these, this is conceptual understanding. From over 22,000 hours I've dedicated to this. This is over a decade, decades full of work of me trying to understand things at a deeper level, mechanistically. Like, if I included every single thing on every single one of my videos, I couldn't make videos.
Anyways, I hope this helps. And, let's hopefully not get fooled by these clinics.
